Ipster looks up the caller in Xelion, checks whether the right colleague is available and transfers the call. You simply keep working with your own PBX.

Ipster and Xelion, directly connected
You choose which actions the agent may use. This works for phone calls.
Recognise the caller
At the start of the call the agent looks up the caller's number in Xelion. That way it knows who it is talking to.
Look up a colleague
If the caller mentions a name, the agent looks it up in Xelion. If there are several matches, it asks and never guesses.
Check presence
Before transferring, the agent checks in Xelion whether the colleague is available.
Transfer to the colleague
If the colleague is available, the agent transfers the caller straight away, without another confirmation question.
Check the line status
The agent fetches the current night mode of a phone line, including a manual change. For questions about opening and closing, it uses that status.
Offer an alternative
If nobody is available, the agent says so in its own words and asks what the call is about, so a colleague can help or a message can be taken.
Your customer calls
Ipster answers and looks up the caller's number in Xelion.
The agent helps
It hears what the caller needs and looks up the right colleague.
The status checks out
The agent checks in Xelion whether that colleague is available.
The call goes through
If the colleague is available, the call is transferred straight away. If not, the agent offers an alternative.

Choose the actions
Switch each action on or off, from recognising callers and checking the line status to transferring calls.
Decide who counts as reachable
After Test connection you see the status labels of your own Xelion environment. You choose which of them count as reachable, and only then does the agent transfer the call.
Set up the transfer
Choose whether your colleague sees the agent's number or the original caller's number. If you like, the recording and the transcript carry on after the transfer.
Create an API user
Create a separate user account for Ipster in Xelion, without multi-factor authentication.
Connect Xelion
Enter the address of your Xelion environment, the tenant, the username and the password, and click Test connection.
Choose the actions
Decide what the agent may do and which statuses count as reachable. Tell it in the prompt when to use it.
Use a separate API account without multi-factor authentication, because Xelion does not allow it to be handled automatically.
